Jean Claude Boisset's Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru 'Aux Guettes' is a fine red wine produced from prestigious vineyards. Aux Guettes is a 49-year-old vineyard on complex limestone gravel and clay soils, facing south. This Pinot Noir expresses elegant aromas of sweet violet, raspberry and cherry with a subtle smoky touch that adds complexity. On the palate, it impresses with its vibrant freshness, silky tannins and enveloping mouthfeel. Ideal with red meats such as roast duck with cranberries or earthy dishes such as sautéed porcini mushrooms with polenta
