The Moscato d'Asti by Paolo Saracco is a sweet sparkling wine of great aromatic intensity, characterized by typical sweet and fruity aromas and an intense and persistent taste, with notes of orange blossom, peach, and aromatic herbs, and a lively freshness on the palate

Paolo Saracco's Moscato d'Asti is a sweet, aromatic, fresh, and slightly sparkling wine that expresses a delicate and harmonious symphony of floral scents and fruity aromas, pleasant and seductive. The Moscato Bianco is an ancient and extraordinary grape variety, spread since ancient times in many Mediterranean countries, thanks to Greek colonization. In the Asti area, it has found the suitable soils and climate to produce wines that are now part of the best excellences of the Region.

The sweet wine Moscato d'Asti is produced by the Paolo Saracco Winery in the vineyards of the estate, located in the best areas of Castiglione Tinella, Santo Stefano Belbo, Castagnole Lanze, and Calosso, all at a rather high altitude and on prized sandy, limestone, and silt soils. The vines of Moscato Bianco from Canelli come from a mass selection of the best plants chosen over the years, which today represent a heritage of biodiversity and quality of inestimable value. At the end of the harvest, a soft pressing is carried out to extract only the aromatic must, which is kept in steel tanks at a temperature of -2 °C. After fermentation at controlled temperature, when the wine reaches a low alcohol content, it is microfiltered and bottled, in order to preserve all its characteristic aromatic fragrance.

Moscato d’Asti is a dessert wine of refined elegance, which retains the varietal bouquet of the grape with delicate floral notes and intense fruity aromas. Soft and enveloping, it is ideal to enjoy with leavened desserts, particularly with Panettone and Pandoro. The color is light straw yellow. On the nose, it opens with scents of orange blossom and white flowers, citrus aromas, white peach, and herbal notes. The sip is lively and seduces with the intense aromaticity of the fruit, dense and juicy, yet always supported by a pleasant freshness.
