Gevrey-Chambertin Bouchard Philippe 2022

The Gevrey-Chambertin by Philippe Bouchard comes from the village responsible for the most powerful Pinot Noirs of the Côte de Nuits. After maceration on the skins, at high temperature to favor the extraction of color and tannins, it ages for over a year in barrel. On the nose, it is deep and spicy, with a side of dark fruit, spicy notes, and a hint of underbrush. On the palate, it is full and structured, with firm and velvety tannins and vibrant freshness, closed by a long finish, an ideal accompaniment to dishes with game birds.
