The Pietracupa project starts from the primary goal of providing an authentic and genuine expression of the great white wines that have always distinguished the Campanian wine scene, among which Fiano stands out. Several years have passed since Peppino Loffredo chose to return to country life, purchasing a property on the hill of Montefredano in the early '70s with the sole purpose of producing wine for himself and for his friends.
Very soon his son Sabino took over the management of the company, giving substance to a project that would soon measure itself against the scene of great territorial wines. Today, the starting foundations have received the right consolidation, paving the way for the production of unmistakable white wines, characterized by an imposing aromatic profile, the most evident example of which is precisely Fiano. Cultivated around the house-winery on an area of just one and a half hectares, the rows of Fiano from Pietracupa rest on a clayey and calcareous soil that gives great minerality to the wines produced here.
