The name Bartolo Mascarello is indissolubly linked to the history of Barolo and the great Piedmontese wines. The estate can count on plots of great value, cultivated in the areas of Cannubi, San Lorenzo, and Ruè, which yield grapes of excellent quality. The style of the winery has always been focused on the protection of the mostancient customs, without any concession to fashions or modernist trends. The Dolcetto grapes come from different plots of the estate, particularly from the vineyards of Ruè and Monrobiolo. At the end of the harvest operations, the best bunches are sent for fermentation, which takes place in concrete tanks with the classic maceration on the skins. Before bottling, the wine matures for 9 months in large oak barrels, according to the oldest traditions of the territory.
